The BIG ONCE in a Full Moon party is cancelled because the group that organises the party cannot provide enough security with the added terrorist threat. Below is the press release... Read more info below the press release.

PRESS RELEASE: 7TH APRIL 2005

Due to the recent bombings in the far Southern Provinces of Thailand, it has been decided that the ONCE in a Full Moon Event is to be postponed until further notice. Koh Phangan currently does not have the extra security required to deal with the increase in numbers of visitors expected at the event coupled with a high security alert; thus we cannot guarantee the safety of visitors unless numbers are kept to normal figures for the year. Therefore the Full Moon Party will continue as normal but there will be no beach stages or extra international acts at the party. This is intended to keep visitors down to normal levels, which the security forces can handle whilst at high alert.

So.............

The big event with the international dj's is cancelled and will probably be held in a few months. So there only is a regular full moon party this month.

As quite a few people also messaged me asking whether we still should go or not and we have not received a lot of confirmations yet about people going let us know how you feel about this month's Full Moon event.

Regarding terrorist threat ... I think the full moon party is still a possible target if it's small or big.... Let me know if you want to wait until the big event is scheduled or if you all want to go ahead with the planned party.

Everybody who has signed up, please confirm if you want to go or not. Also please vote on the poll so we have an idea as I don't want to be responsible for going on with an event in case anything might happen.

i doubt we will see the end of the viciousness of humanity in our lifetime compadre.

i've seen alot of innocents and not so inncents suffering, but that is life with the thrill kill cult.
