Guest marty
Just reading about some of the debt in the Premier League. Man Utd's Red Football Joint Venture made interest payments of GBP68.8m on total loans of GBP692m in 2007-08 when United won the Premier League and Champions League. Total debt has increased GBP604m to GBP649.4m. Liverpool's annual accounts reveal that Liverpool made a GBP10.2m profit but the parent company Kop Football (Holdings) Ltd made a substantial loss of GBP42.6m, mainly due to interest payments totalling GBP36.5m. This is likely to affect Rafa's ability to strengthen during the summer transfer window. It's all a bit weird - United were always profitable, with healthy profits year on year. Then the Glazers arrive and profits are merely servicing the debt they have loaded onto the club. Liverpool is being run by two idiots who are destroying the club just at the time when they need investment to build on last year's strong season. Just wondering what others think about this, especially United and Liverpool fans

CiaranM
Total debt has increased GBP604m to GBP649.4m.Just wondering what others think about this, especially United and Liverpool fans i think ppl should now appreciate more what arsene is doing on a shoestring budget .... the gunners debt is pretty sizeable, BUT it was based on building a bigger stadium and generating more income. liverpool really look in diffs at the moment !!
