In August, we went to some colonial towns. First stop: Queretaro, 2h north from Mexico City.
The center is nice. We even found a shop selling Thai silk, good quality and not to expensive (for Mexico)!

We are now in Bangkok but I did not finish posting the pics of Mexico and our trip to Thailand. Mexico is not so colorful and beautiful everywhere, but of course I choose the pics.
Guadalajara is the second town of Mexico. It's a rich, very conservative and catholic town. Two areas, which were little towns before, are very good place to buy handicraft. We were there for a Fashion Fair where Thailand had a place that we help to build.

Let's go back to Mexico before we left this country... Tepoztlan is a little town 1h30 from Mexico City. Mountains surrounding, a temple high on one of them. There's a very nice market there, and also all the hippies, fake (and true, but hard to find) fake medecine men, witches, alternative medecine, gurus... you can imagine. Enjoy the show.

We are back to Thailand now after our trip. Still busy, Kui returned to work and we have much to do to settle here, so I'll try my best to be more present on TF, and go back on posting pics of Mexico and of our trip. I just post this pic... and pls don't say I'm fat, I KNOW!

The madness of the last days has been quite hard, giving away all the furniture that we sold or give and many other things we won't take with us. Our bodys hurt, especially the back!!Now we are homeless: the house is closed, the moving for Thailand gone, we live in a friend's house, we say good bye all the time... Day D - 8: only 8 days before we go. A big joy. The only thing wich hurts a lot: I will have also to say good bye to my son, and that is a big pain. We hope to have more time now to be
Today and tomorrow, people will come and take the furniture they bought us, we will live on the floor, he he, with nearly nothing (but a bed!).On wednesday the moving for Thailand will go and we will close the appartement and go at a friend's house until our departure for Thailand via USA and France the 10th of September. Sunday 19th August is my Kui’s birthday. The only one she will have here in Mexico, last year we were in BKK and next anywhere but here (who knows…?). We have been living together for more than one year and a half, laughing, fighting, crying, loving… and building a relationship I didn’t thought it was possible to live. Halloween at the Royal Embassy We had a party at the Royal Embassy in Mexico for last Halloween… Not many were dressed in a special way but I did, he he.

We will soon leave Mexico. We'll post the pics of several trips and momnets we had here, a way to say goodbye.Cuernavaca is a town near Mexico City (70km) much nicer, not so high and much warmer. Colonial center has some churches and a very nice handycraft market.

We (Sarika and I) will leave Mexico definitively on September 10th, and after a trip through USA, France and Spain, we will settle down in BKK at the end of October or beginning of November. We have been (and still are) very busy to prepare the moving and say bye to Mexico. We are very happy to be able to join Thailand and especially TF in the real life. Just want to say - with one finger of left hand - that we are ok but no time to post - though a lot of pics of Mexico that we will post when more time. 10 days ago, i nearly broke my ass falling on it while playing football with my students - they said "like in a movie". A real pain in the ass, ha ha. Today, i f*cked my right arm carrying a bag so i can hardly use it and NOT for keyboard! We'll be back when classes finish here, 6 weeks to wait still.But we vote for our friends and read journals

It has been a long story, and quite difficult. We didn't believe anyone, anything, until the last moment, when they said: "Yes, it's OK." We wondered if we post this now or later, when we have the definitive paper in hand (one more week...) but we cannot wait to tell you (even if we know you'll understand now why we were not on TF for a while...)
Because of the @#$%&@ French laws (or stupidity?), we couldn't do it in French nor Thai Embassy because they wouldn't recognize it in France. So
Today was the Mexican National Day, so yesterday night we were invited by Mexican friends to celebrate in their house.
