10 untreated lemons

1 litro of full proof alcohol

2 litres of full cream milk

2 kg sugar

vanilla

recipe is the same as limoncello but with milk instead....its a really great recipe....In thailand u can use also limes which are cheaper and tasty as well

Using a vegetable peeler, remove the thin yellow/green of the

lemons. Do not remove any of the bitter white pith. Discard the lemons, and place the peel in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Add the alcohol and let stand at room temperature and in a dark room

for 10 days.

Strain, and reserve the liquid. Leave the peel in the strainer. In a saucepan, bring the milk and sugar to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Pour this hot sugar syrup over the peel into a heatproof bowl. Discard the pieces of peel, and allow the syrup to cool. Add the cooled milk syrup to the alchol to make the limoncello. Pour the liqueur into bottles with tight-fitting lids, and let stand for 5 days. Store in the freezer.
