2 questions.

1) Was Rooney sent off for the foul or for Ronalo's reaction and Ronnet's reaction to Ronaldo?

2) Can Ronaldo play againa for Manchester United? He will be the most hated an in English football and it will be impossible for hi to work wih Rooney.

I think he has to go

I think if Ronaldo plays good in Man UTD, no reason to go, and English should not hate him: he was just playing for his team like every professional should do (but I think his penalty should have been repeated coz he stopped his run half way). Rooney's expulsion also should have been just a yellow card...But England's champions should plays good like they're used to do in the premier league if they want to go on further, I think they did not express 100% in this cup (like many teams, Brazil for example). By the way, what about England's goalkeeper? I don't think he's good enough for this team (Seaman was much better)...

Luca- Fans in the premiership need no excuse to hate manchester united players. He will get the same hell Beckham did 8 years ago, difference is beckham handled it amzingly well. Ronaldo i doubt will be the same. I just wonder what the reaction to rooney's latest mdness will be.

But what can we expect when a nation puts all our dreams on the shouldes of a 20 year old kid.

As for goalkeepers Robinson is the clear best of a very bad choice.

Man UTD players have always been "spicy", as Cantona, Rooney or like the legend George Best...so Sir Ferguson has to do a good job to let they play good without exceed in weirdness. I think Rooney is a very good player but the injury before the cup did not help him for sure, and he needs experience in a such important competition. But he'll be one of the best players for the future of english team for sure. I don't think it's wrong to put all the dreams in a young player if he's a world-class one: football is weird and this kind of player can play not good or save the game and sometimes the competition. Even champions like Ronaldinho, Totti, Adriano, Riquelme have been far to express their real class, but if one of them get the condition they can bring their team to the finals. It's too late for Brazil, so now only Totti and Zidane can win or lose this cup...

It will surely hard to C.Ronaldo if he'll break up with the team, coz he has not the same charisma which Beckham had when left Manchester. We'll see what will happen after the 9th july. As for the goalkeeper, probably it's hard to choose one when in the 4 strongest teams in 2005 in UK they are "farangs" ( Cudicini&Cech, Van Der Sar, Howard, Dudek, Lehmann, Poom...)

I dont think Ronaldo canplay for scum again, He should be on his way to Real Madrid pretty sharpish, when i first saw it i thought the referee had sent him off for his reaction to his supposed club team mate, but after reading a few articles in the local tabloids yesterday (NOTW) I think he apparantly kicked the other guy in the knackers, I have yet to see this and will stand loyal to my countrymen,

hes still very young and qu9ite impetuous, if anyone was in england and saw the Ricky Gerviase sketch b4 the game it was hilarious and kinda summed up his temper hehe, he has managed to keep a lid on his temper since he got the ban last time and we gotta give him credit for that.

Too be honest I dont understand how u can have an argentinian ref in charge of that game, it seemed that if ronaldo did a double somersault on the halfway line and their was noone in the vicinity he wud still card one of the men in white
