TF meeting

It had been a busy day for me and some of TF member had beaten me to writing their journal on TFer meeting yesterday.

Yesterday was the first time I get to met some of the TF members. It wasn't easy getting there. I had to endure some rains and more than a hour of traffic to get there. I need to give special thanks to my driver and assistance. Also a thanks to gin for putting up with the numbers of phone calls we placed asking for direction.

It would have been smarter to get their by skytrain than driving there. But the important thing is that we finally got there.

By the time we got, it was about 8:30pm. I normally eats around 7pm, so I was pretty hungry. Food was on my mind more than making friends. I shaked espresso's hand and ran off to the buffet, only to return to apology to espresso for not remembering his name. But he was understanding and a pleasant guy to chat with. I don't really have to mention how pleasant his wife was. She have a combination of great sense of humor, charming personality and good-looks. From what I have noticed espresso and his wife also have great chemistry together.

I talked to Richard-Carl next. I assumed his name was richard cause of his user ID. But as the saying go when you assume, you make an ass or u and me . His name is actually mark. As mentioned in his journal we grew up around the same area in california. I spented the last 30 years of my life in southern california USA. (Actually it is still my home) I travel back and forth between california and bangkok The last 3 years, I have been spend a lot more time in bangkok than california cause cause of works. I could tell that mark have been away from california for awhile. Cause he wasn't sure where Warner or golden west was in huntington beach. I am sure wanderingkevin would know. But I could tell that he likes it here in thailand. It is good for someone to find a place that they feel they belong.

It was a long table that we were sitting at. There were about 20 some people at the table. I can recognize most of people from their photo and profile. As mentioned I was pretty hungry and didn't get much of a chance to chat with the people at the other end of the table. But we acknowledge each other with the hope that we might be able to get to know each other better next time.

I manage to have a good conversion with kitty and 2unique. Kitty was very easy to talk to and have a great knowledge of a lot of topics. With 2unique, he speak with a lot of energy. I felt bad after everyone left and he was there by himself. But shortly, another girl joined him, so it wasn't so bad after all.

The whole experience was interesting and different for me. Cause I am used to chat with people about business or development of something. Here you have a group of people who chats about everything and nothing at the same. But mostly importantly, they are happy doing it. I guess that is the most important thing.

I regret not meeting sarpedon and not getting an opporunity to have a better conversion with the others. Maybe next time.

Yeah...sorry that I had to head off early! Seems like i am the one who missed out on meeting many more tf'ers and having a good time...ah well, there is still next time...

HBK thanks for the compliment... the pleasure was mine and i was so lucky getting chance to chat with you ....

Make sure you move around next time to chat with other girls.... they were jealous last night... :)

Hey HBK, yep Warner/Goldenwest is in HB. Nothing much has changed there... Strip malls, High School, and Home Depot. If you saw it 20 years ago you ain't missin much today.

Thank kevin, I used to have a resturant right across from the high school in the albertson center. There is also another one of the other side called gong's chinese resturaunt across from ralph.

Gong's I know I have eaten at but it has been years ago. I think the Ralph's is something else now as well. Been a couple months since i have been down there.

Yeah I usually sleep between 4-9:30am most of the time it is enough...
