I only went to Don Muang three times and it became my favourite airport (probably because it is in my favourite country ;-) now I will miss it :-(

I like donmuang Airprot very much by close to my house and the run way is SUPER SHORT. no need to wait for long time after plane's landing

I am so scared about new airport.. I talked with mom fews day ago and she said on the way back to Thailand this time i must go to new one..!! i don't want oo buti cna't do anything.... heard that the land that they make the runway still have some problem... Grr.r.r.r. am so scared!

I will try the new airport in 2 weeks... somehow I think I will get lost LOL

Anyone know what they will do with the old airport. I guess now the TRT are out all the original plans, to make money of course, have been scuttled.

I heard that Thaksin will sell the old airport to Singapore, tax free ;-)

Well, the old airport will be used for the military base and for Cargo airlines only.

I love Dong Muang airport! Have had so many memorable memories there. Sad, Cry, Hungry, Sleepy, Angry, Excited, Happy!!!

Will try the new airport in a week and I will let you know how it goes... I heard that from check in counter to the departure gate takes about 40 mins walk!! Id better get a scooter

I have try and test new airport already. It is wide and wire for me, however that time is arrangement from AOT. So they may hide something.

But this sunday I will pick up cocobrotha, then i willl what is the truth of this airport

The new airport is going to get bigger.. the land it's acquired is huge! My gf drove me there (which didn't take long either as she lives close to it ) and looking forward to get in there one day.

I liked Don Muang as it was compact, quick to get around to the gates or into immigration.

The first time I arrived at Don Muang, the terminal was still a shabby old wooden building. It wasn't until a couple of years after that that the Don Muang as we know it today was opened. And now it's closing. Yah, goodbye Don Muage, hello Suvanabumi!
