Hello Everybody, I see that my "handsome" son has said I will be posting my first journal so thought I had better live up to his expectations!!!!! I must say that I have really enjoyed my first six months in Bangkok and, more importantly, meeting you all at various places (Gullivers being the favourite, I think). I am going home - or rather back to the UK - at the end of July for a couple of months to be with friends and family, but hope I will see you all before then. Thank you so much for your welcome and friendship.

Congrats on your first Journal, Mum. Now all you have to learn to do is to attach photo's, videos, and you will be a true 'TFer'!!

As for the sarcastic comments, from such 'Gemtlemen' as Ciaran, don't take any notice. They are just trying to use 'humour' to make up for their own inadequacies.

You are one of my favourite people Chris but why do you let that "other" member write such things as your first paragraph for example .

Just got hold of your First Journal!

I am still recovering from jet lag really but hope that we will be able to meet up before you return to the UK. Khun Irene is with me again until 20th August, so let's meet for some more noodles!
