Why is it that when someone has a change of heart all of the sudden they just stop talking to you.  I mean...they won't accept your calls...won't respond to your SMS... So "my friend" connected with someone online.  They exchanged IDs with the idea of chatting.  A couple of times they connected online and had some decent conversations.  Everything seemed pretty good...then all of the sudden...nothing.   This seems to be a recurring theme in Thailand.  Basically if you no longer like someone then you blatantly ignore them.  Isn't it easier to just say...sorry, too busy for you now...or...take a hike...or...yeah well I've moved to iceland.  I gotta say that there is nothing more fruststrating than being completely shut out..especially when no reason is given.

Well I guess we all learn that nothing on line is what it sems...be careful anyway...but don't take anything to heart... nothing means anything in the cyberworld...its all lies and deceit...

...and you know why?

... because anyone can be anything they want, including...gone!

yep, i would say this is much more common in thailand than in canada. thais generally can't stand confrontation at all, and so will avoid it in this way. we will usually drop some hints at least and kind of let things trail off. i've found though that some won't take a hint and this is all you can do. after all why waste any time with something that is sure to go absolutely no where? the hints are seldom much of an eye opener, just the painful truth.

Yes.. that's happend,

This is my guess... In thai culture ... Saying NO NO ... I don't like you anymore.. I don't wanna see you anymore. Is not polite... Better walk away and say nothing..

It's just my guess tho

That happened to me once too with a Thai, but not online. In person. She cut things off just by totally ignoring me. When suddenly someone whose approval of you is very important to you just withdraws it without comment and acts like you don't exist, that hurts a lot more than being told. Telling at least recognizes the other person as a person. But her method backfired. As a result, I gave her exactly what she was trying to avoid, confrontation, and I gave it to her in spades....

Well i normally dont say hello to anyone first when i'm online, unless i really like that person or wanna talk about something. But u know there's also a time when u feel like u dont wanna talk to anyone and then its been weeks or months and u guys just stop talking to each other cos of that...u know u kinda miss out a lot of things happened with other people and u dont feel like connected to that person anymore... sound bullshit but its true..to me though.
