what kind of tanks are they? M48A2? M48A3? M60? M60A1? M60A2? M60A3? M60A4? T72? or are you talking about a water tank? fuel tank? lol! Well, whatever it is... I do hope it's nothing like last year event with the real tanks...

khun_lung: Easy... you can tell by the modifications and add-on equipments that is clearly visible on a tank. For example, a M60 tank is different from a M60A3 tank by the BIG square spotlight... actually it's a thermal imaging device that was probably the 1st generation... lol!!

Thank God, I'm back in Honolulu..............but something really scary............it sounded like a mess of fighter jets flying over our area at sound breaking speed....at 0300??? Tanks and jet fighters in the air?

garyrr: Bridge carrier's body frame are taken from M48/M60 to keep up with those Main Battle Tank of the past.... even the newer bridge carriers are using the Main Battle Tank's body frame of the country of origin. But truthfully, M48/M60 are like a mansion compare to the newer tanks of today. lol!!

khun_lung: you are really in perfect tank spotting position, I remember you reported of similar activities sometime after the coup, I think it was when there were rumours of counter coup rolling around!!! :) If only you some day got pics of them! As not everyday you see tanks rolling in huge metropol cities. I wonder how the roads take the hit...

Oh, khun_lung, is Sanam Pao in the middle of Bangkok? ::big eyes:: I dont know about these things, all I know is that Victory monument is really in the center of the city... If so, photos? :) Not everyday you see military base in a middle of city either. :D
