great series, but John Hurt was not a good choice as narrator

the underwater diving scenes in the Phillipines were amazing, as was the sea gypsy walking on the sea bed with his spear hunting and the other guy catching a shark with just a noose on a bit of wood.

@ funky house ; so far my best narrator is the lady from feature call "HOME" provoking, good rhythm.

Thanks for tip Kusama, I found the BBC's "How The Earth Made Us" very good documentary.
