My Summer Vacation

I went to the USA on 19 June and arrived on the 20th.  I left USA to come back to Thailand on 16 July and arrived home the 18th.  So counting all the time in the air, I was gone for almost a month. Now that I've been back for almost 2 weeks, I am sufficiently over my lag and write about my summer vacation. Let me say that I'm so damn happy to be back home again and feel sorry for all the people who have to live in the USA full time. It was the first time in many years that I got to see both of my parents (divorced) and all of my five siblings.  I went shopping often and spent a lot more than I have in the previous few years. I stayed mostly with one of my brothers because he was the only one with high speed internet.  My mom and older sister offered, but I couldn't stay there because of my need for the net. With that said, my photo journal essay begins. (Captions below pics.)summer01.jpg.jpg A few days after I arrived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dean (bro) and I took off to visit Douglas (bro) in Charleston, South Carolina. The flight attendant gave us special attention because we convinced her that we were a gay couple celebrating our honeymoon.summer02.jpg.jpg Douglas and his wife, Enola Gay (named after an infamous airplane). They  have red walls in their kitchen.summer03.jpg.jpg One of Doug's grandkids and a couple of rodents. (soooooo cute??)summer04.jpg.jpg I was totally amazed at how many blueberries my brother's bush could produce. They were so juicy and delicious and endlessly plentiful. These blueberries and Doug's Jacuzzi made the trip to South Carolina worth it. (It was good to see him after seven years as well.)summer05.jpg.jpg Doug's backyard in Summerville, South Carolina.summer06.jpg.jpg Farewell to SC meal at a Chinese restaurant buffet with Matthew (nephew) Dean, Don, Doug.summer07.jpg

Back in Wisconsin.....Mom (TF bettyj) and sister Theresa posing in front of my mom's old car.summer08.jpg Nephew Robbie, son of Theresa. (soooooo cute?)summer09.jpg My fortune.... I was shocked!summer10.jpgVisiting with my father in the "old folks home" Thanks Dad, for the longevity in the genes and the nice hairline u gave me!!!My brother Dave took me to see my father and we played two games of cards which my father won, but I didn't put Dave's pic on here cuz he's just too damn ugly. summer11.jpg My mom begged some money off of me to buy a new car. (I got her a new computer too!)summer12.jpg So what if it isn't brand new..... It's a 2005.... Newer than my Soluna!!!summer13.jpg Josh, my good friend and room mate of Dean. He is the friend who will lend you the shirt off his back and is willing to drop anything to help 24/7.  A man's man and righteous dude who lives by the creed "Bros before Hos". The sofa on the right was my habitat for most of the month I was in USA.summer14.jpgMy "booty"  ( A valuable prize, award, or gain.)Not the "booty" that most TF are always thinking about: boo·ty2 (') pronunciation also boo·dy (-dē)

summer15.jpgMy good friend and running buddy, John. (TF bbbjohan) He is a brilliant and lovely man who is married to a Thai. His wife and I don't get along.summer16.jpg Me posing at the finish line of the third and final race that I ran during the summer. My results were quite good.  I finished in first place in my age group in all three races and I have proof.summer17.jpg There it is.  Races were July 4, 8, and 14. Distances 4 miles, 5K, 5K. Times..... Not that fast, but I'll kick ur ass!summer18.jpg Last pic.  Ellen (sis) a teacher in Madison, Wisconsin showing off her ***** (Such an exhibitionist.) I keep lots of my clothes in her basement so I don't have to think too much about packing when I leave Thailand for my annual visit to HELL!!So how was YOUR summer vacation?
