I have just heard (one minute ago)....there was a 7.9 earthquake off the Indonesian coast.There is a Tsunami Alert.If you have friends holidaying or living on the coast, you should alert them. 

Lets hope that there wont be human casualties... o.O

Also the affectation in Thailand at Silom and Sathorn...Hopefully nothing gonna happen.

I was working in the building on sathorn. I thought I was gonna faint.. then i realized it was an earthquake so i had to run down 41fl... again!!

Reporter said Tsunami might occur in Surin Island at 9.15 pm.

Am watching the Thai news. Also related government agencies are on alert just in case.

actually 2 earthquakes measuring 7.9 hits Sumatra. the tremors was felt in Singapore too, especially high rise building. I was 1 of them. I can feel my body moving, thought was fainting but no, all my colleagues felt the same. The tremors last for almost 1 minutes.Then building management decides to evacuate everyone from building.

Singapore..... awww .... My Boss'boss is there and my boss' is going there on Friday.... also my boss'b boss' boss' boss from NY is currently somewhere around, not sure if he's in Singapore too

I watched that news too and hope nothing bad happens, wish everyone is safe

Everybody here in jakarta also got panicked by the earthquake, i was still at the office by that time and all of us running out of the building. The most devastated area is in Bengkulu, Sumatra, Indonesia. Many people have suffered from the earthquake, i hope we wont get any tsunami like the one we had in Aceh.

just saw TV...they annouced No tsunami....

How they will tell us if there was tsunami?
