And why Thai Poeple hates LAos's too much??

What makes you think the Thais hate the Laotians? Thailand is the biggest investor in Laos. Every weekend, there are hundreds if not thousands crossing the Friendship Bridge from Nong Khai into Vientiane. Hot sure where you get your info. from. - KK

Some Thais look down on Laos. Just like they look down in Isan people. It's a snob thing. The Lao people are like country bumpkins to them.

It also didn't help that they killed their royal family. But that's like blaming all Cambodians for what Pol Pot did.

Oh, by the way, the Emerald Buddha. You know, the most sacred Buddha image in Thailand? Came from Laos. Some Thai king invaded a few hundred years ago and took it.

Laos and the people there are fantastic!I lived there for some time and i still miss it!Any opportunity I get,I go back!.........Great food,fantastic wine,nice people and beautiful scenery!

Laos rocks, it was one of my favourite places on the planet. I don't know any Thais who hate Laotians, they just look down on them as backward country people. Even my dad's Isaan maid couldn't believe I was going to go *back* to Laos after visiting once. She figured I had to have a girlfriend there, because otherwise, what on earth could there be in that backward place that would be interesting to me?

one of my fave places.... peacefully beautiful - people/places... yummy baguette and vanilla tea in the morning.. uhmmm sniff sniff.. wanna go back there again. And why bother those racial discrimination knowing that Laotians are nice?
