ON the quiet side of Koh Chang, At Karang Bayview Resort, where there is more staff then guests on most days... The view from my bungalow.

Even got to see the moon setting in the mountains in the morning (moons always look bigger to the eye then the camera)

It was on other side by the Salk Pet way i guess but i was at Lonly beach and white Sand beach on last early November 2007. I love Koh Chang.

I have been on Koh Chang several times to visit my Dutch friend who lives there. Most of the excitement takes place around White Sand Beach, where it can be busy as hell! I stayed in VJ Plaza, Chai Chet every time. I had to go to the hospital one time which is on the other side of the island and it surprised me how quiet and peaceful it is there! Hardly any tourists, no cars or motorbikes flying around all the time. And flora and fauna is very impressive as well. Next time I visit Koh Chang I will consider staying on the quiet side for sure.
