Another trip has just ended.

I am tired and exhausted.

I can't wait to get home to catch up on my sleep - another 5 hours to go before my plane arrives at Melbourne airport - can't come too soon!!!

Still I am relieved and happy with this business trip.

I had started this trip with a bit of trepidation, afterall, 2008 was one hell of a year for businesses and investments.

I was expecting the worst, but was pleasantly surprised to see that my biggest client has weathered the storm.

I was even more happy to learn that they had taken my advice to sell down their investments during early 2008, over advisers like ABN AMRO who had advised them to hold onto their positions.

And as a consequence, my business is going to get more work from them - always good to get more work - especially. during a recession - even better to have won against international firms.

Well, it goes to show you that if you are good at what you do, you can win businesses regardless of the size of your firm.

Another of life's lessons.

Time to go home.

How far you can win your business ?

As long as you still alive, whenever you died, your wife+your kid cannot win that business for sure, any customer will trust them. It's different from ABN AMRO, that's why customer select to use ABN AMRO, It's relate about the famous + trustworthy tho.
