Fishingdude44 0 Posted March 17, 2008 Report Share Wow, Great Photo's, Past and Present, Thanks Gav, And how does someone get from NASA Control Room photo's to Iraq?? WOW, In my opinion The USA has not had a "Sad Decline" We may have had a few less then perfect Leaders, But they where Voted into office, So just blame the people who voted for them? The USA was not being put down as much after they sent Millions and Millions of US money to help with the Tsunami Relief,,,,,, Link to comment
grezzzy_greer 2 Posted March 23, 2008 Report Share I would imagine that in 40 years there should be no reason to have a "Mission Control" in the sense of the current facility.I expect that virtually all functions will be automated and controlled by powerful computers, either on board the spacecraft or on earth in various locations...more or less as it is now in a way, but with a further 40 years of technological advances... I don't think that there are fewer people now because of budget and staff cuts, but primarily because the technology has advanced a long way and they don't need as many people to do the same job.
