Today I had to throw away my lunch, rice was smell so bad, I realized it after I ate for 3 spoon... hehe.Well, that time it was too late to go to buy some food at restaurant. Besides, I wanted to drink a cup of iced black tea at Starbuck. So I went down stairs and order it.The Starbuck stuff asked if changed my mind cuz if I bought frappucino + bakery I would get an earth day cotton bag.I insisted to get ice tall black tea. I have only 200 baht in my hand. I wasn't sure that I can afford it. Besides, I don't like like frappucino... it's too sweet for me plus bakery at Starbuck isn't delicious.Then the staff tried to convince me again. She shown me the cotton bag...It was so cute... and not too big not too small...

lovely one...So I said ok... bring me Black Tea Frappucino + Pork pie.... (mai aroi) and that bag.I brought up and shown my coworkers... they wanted it. So about 10 of them go down stairs and buy the bag... oops buy frappucino.

Sooner or later this $4-5 per cup of coffee business model won't work for them anymore. Competitors like Dunkin Donut and McDonald already started offering premium coffee at lower prices, and consumers will start buying cheaper substitutes. I hate it when big corporations like Starbuck advertise how their products benefit coffee bean growers and etc.. I mean, out of $4-5 per cup, it'd be great if 10 cents go to hands of farmers. Still, you can find their stores every 2 street blocks in Manhattan.
