Yesterday, after I posted journal "Nothing to do" I went out to meet my classmates at Coffee Alley. After 3 hours coffee talk...  we made up our mind to go somewhere else. One of my classmate said we should go to see movie at Esplanade. To be honest I was tired of movies. Last Friday night I went to see "Sex and the City" and Sat and Sun I laid down and see movie at home, plus I watched my downloaded movie "Anna and the King" and "Muriel's Wedding" "9 Songs" "Intamacy" "Once"  and DVDs I bought "27 dresses" "Juno" "Penelope" plus Tuesday night (the night before) I got a free ticket to see "Kungfu Panda" plus yesterday morning alone, I watched "The Flock" "Chocolate" "PS. I Love You"If I got to see a movie yesterday I might puke... but so lucky we didn't have the same comments when we got there.... I said "I have seen Sex and the City already" Aimmy said "I have seen The Happening already" p'Jedy "Anything but Narnia" So I said "Why don't we go to do something that we enjoy, such as Karaoke?" nong Aimmy clapped her hands "Yeah, it's good idea p'Neung" p'Jedy "I have sored throat, but it's ok, let's go"At Blu-O 250 baht/ hour, I could get 50 baht / hour discount cuz I have student card... hehe We was there like 4 hours, none stop karaoke, no food, no drink, no toilet. hehe that was so Crazy... I felt terrible cuz my stomach cried.... and my voice shaked....cuz I hadn't drink anything at all. 3 hours passed by, I said we should go if when we finish 4th hour. Suddenly.... the computer was crashed... songs in the selected list were gone. p'Jedy went to the counter to find out what happened, the other rooms did the same. The staff told us the computer system failed. They could fixed in 3 mins. So we continue singing until the 4th hour was over.I prepared my 1000 bank note to pay them, but the cashier said "200 baht kha" I almost said..."but..it's 4 hours" p'Jedy stopped me. He paid 200 baht and dragged us out.He said...computer system failed so they should do that. I don't know... felt like I cheated them... What do you think?Ãéçà¡×úµÒ¨èÒ ÊçÃéÃÂ

I dont think you cheated on them, Bcool, maybe that was their policy to give you discount on the payment as a way to say sorry for the inconvience but yeah that was a big discount, LOL...

Similar thing happened to me many years ago, in a big store in the UK. I went shopping with my wife, and it was one of those weeks where we had ran out of everything. We had TWO carts full of food and other things. We got to the check out, they started putting it through and bagging the stuff. After they had done about 85% of everything, there was a power faliure, and everything went down. It took AGES to get back online again,and I started complaining, and asked for the manager. Eventually it went back online, they put the other 15% of our things through, which is all I paid for because they forgot about the 85% of things already scanned and in my cart. This saved us we worked out, about 7,000 baht. And, on top of that, the manager came along and apologised, and gave me a voucher worth around 1,500 baht as a gift!!LOL

Did I feel sorry for the store? Did I hell - the big stores have been ripping us all off for years - som nam naa:)
