n. A person who eats a mostly vegetarian diet, but who is also willing to eat meat or fish occasionally...

I know i cant be a vegetarian.... since i cant say no to steak, salmon, cheeses, fish ball, crispy pork, massaman (yellow curry), BBQ, tempura udon, sushi, sashimi, moo sa-teh, khao mok gai (chicken with yellow rice), tod mun plaa (fish cakes), gaeng som (sour curry with vegetables and shrimp), tom yum kung, tom kaa gai (coconut soup with chicken) ....etc.... errr..sorry if i make you hungry...

Even there are more vegetarian restaurants now, it's still inconvenient...

Anyway, the main reason is... i dont want to put myself in "control mode".... i dont have any health reason... or want to lose my weight... i just feel like "less meat, please"...

i have heard many benefits from it and also a tiny possibility to save animal life...

I believe that it is a good step forward for my health...

Let try...

I think a Flexitarian is actually someone who has been doing yoga for years and insists on eating their food while doing an inverted pose! Perhaps you mean a vegequarian? A vege who eats fish - thats what I call myself.

A mostly 'vegetarian' eater who eats meat on occassion sounds no different than a non-smoker who has the odd cigarette. Or a Raw Fooder who loves soup, or a Fruitarian that likes greek salad, what about a Breatharian who enjoys the odd chocolate cake?

I reckon just eat whatever makes you happy or healthy, both if you can.

vegequarian (veh-je-queh-rien) noun [< vegetarian + aqua (water).] Someone who is a vegetarian but also eats fish and/or seafood.

i think both vegequarian and flexitarian is an "almost" or semi-vegetarian... but flexitarian is still consuming poultry... but no red meat same..

anyway, i agree with you ja... eat whatever makes you happy or healthy : )

.... heathy for body and mind....

Absentee: "What if you date/ur bf is a vegetarian? "

Well I guess you avoid the Steak House option for the date. But better check first if the date/bf is western defination of vegetarian or the Buddhist defination (No drink, smokes or SEX!) as you may be heading towards a plutonic relationship!

Only because of love for a woman (years ago) I learnt that vegetarian food can be very tasty ... though... my love for meat (all kinds) has been stronger
