I really hate wearing uniform, I really do... but it's my division policy, but looking on the bright side. I can save money, no need to spend money to buy office outfits cost me about 1000 - 2000 baht / 1 set. Plus it save time to make up my mind what to wear. lol.What I hate about wearing uniform are:

1. Ain't fun at all... I mean about inspiration. Hrrrrrrrrrrrr.... wear the same thing every work days.

2. Going out, hang out, see my friends after work... My face is really old... my shape isn't good. Think about wearing serious uniform... makes me look like an aunty or grandma. Yesterday, a tailor brought me the form that he just finished. I don't know, about my fit and firm project, perhaps. The uniform doesn't seem like my size at all. Pants were so loose. brouse and jacket were so big... I meant really big. I brought the whole set back to the tailor.

I tried them on... and shown him that I couldn't accept it for sure... The tailor said he would do his best... I hope he will do as he said.I had argument with the last tailor cuz he did really bad job and blamed me cuz of my bad shape. I shown the uniform which the 1st tailor did. (damn, I really need him back) It was perfect. If the 1st tailor could do... the others could do as well. My coworkers and my boss always asked me why I always change my cloths after work just for going home. I said I wasn't proud to wearing this stuffs outside. Sometimes, when I go to shopping malls or cinemas, some people come to ask for directions, prices, etc. It's annoying and lose confidence.

I am one of 'girls in uniform' and i sick of them to dead now ( wearing them since Feb ). I think my tailor was done her bad work to me, she made loose for me, i complained she claimed i might lost my weight.. bah..mak mak.

I dont enjoy wearing uniform at all especially uniform of this year. I will change tailor service for my 2009 uniforms.

Bcool, I Wore a "Uniform" for many Years! and we called it a "Pickle suit" Now I see many younger people wearing them!! Camouflage Pants! and tops!

What does it look like?

look at the bright side, its pain in the ass to think what to wear each day, waste of time and money

I used to wear factory uniform for 5 years. and You know what? in the factory. Doesn't matter you are manager or supervisor. you wear the same uniform!!!

Um?woman comes in all kind of shape and sizes.....

And I thought, usual the uniform concept as corporate. They r providing you the material fabric, but you have a freedom on designing your uniform only you have to strictly on their fabrics?isn?t that how it s working?

Maybe you should re-design to what you feel like abt?

Try several difference designs, not straightly to one design that you usual wear or made.

or once you find the design you like, try to find the differences cloth designer/tailor that suite with each of ur design.

sometime go for local and u always ended up getting a local look suite. But cant get rid of them cos they are good with the cutting. but lack of creativity....... so delegate few or one of your suite that you want to feel the best formal wear. and leave the fancy suite to the other tailor to taking care off.

So that would make each day of ur wearing uniform fun and feels the change cos of the several design option.

And nothing can be change regarding to rules and regulation corporate .

yeah I have seen once when I visit an indian family factory. They wear look the same except the executive.

I have seen some bank officers wear same fabric but difference style such as Krungthai. So pity at my division can't do. We wearing same style (and not in trend)

You mean indian tailor? Actually, after them got the order they sent them out to some where else, my mom's friend got a lot order from Indian tailor shops.

Sorry Neung but here lies the problem of many that does not like to wear uniforms.

1) Worry about how you look.....First of all it's your responsibility to do your job good and not how you look is all the customer care about.

2) Shopping.... Company that provides you with uniforms helps in saving money.

3) Pride....If you don't like your job then you need to find another that will make you happy.

I have been wearing my company uniform for the past 25 years and the 3 items above is still what I believe in. Doing my job to the best of my abilities and hope the customer comes back for our services. Not having to worry about what to wear and not spending any money on work cloths and last..... I am proud of the company that I work for

I understand. I used to wear uniform and I hated that as well.

If the uniform looks nice and trendy, its ok. But it made me look old - -"

Anyway, now I got a new job. I can wear anything I want and yea, i spend alot of money on it.
