I saw it at Major Ratchayothin. Didn't plan to see it at first but glad I did. The plot and story line are crappy, of course. But if you are a big fan of martial arts, you won't be disappointed. There are all sorts of martial arts and weapons in the movie .. from Samurai, Ninja, Kung Fu, Muay Thai, you name it. The action sequences are superb and there are lot of them! You will appreciate their efforts.

Ong Bak 2 has nothing to do with the Ong Bak 1. the first one was a modern twist. This second one went back to the stone age.

There was broken news and press released few weeks before the movie came out, that they had financial problem and Tony Jaa gave up and was about to quit the movie production when it was almost finish being filmed. Then they made up and filmed the rest of the movie.

Anyway, the costumes were terrifying, confusingly designed and poorly executed. Japanese/ chinese/ indonesian/ Cambodian/ northern tribes costumes all in one. Bunch of freaks got dressed up in silly costumes that did not make any sense in this movie. It is a big bowl of salad with bad ingredients, immitate scenes from other movies here and there... i could see scenes from King Kong, Drunken master Jackie Chan, could think of a few more.

There was one fighting scene that was relatively good. the one with the elephant, you know what im talking about, it last about 5 minutes, thats about all. Any other fighting you want to see, you already seen them in the trailers. So don't expect to much.

I wanted money back.

Yes, I think you should watch it just to enjoy the fights.

Forget the plot, it's only there to give reason to the fights.

The first one was the best, as it was still high quality Thai style.

I see Thailand becoming a great blockbuster producer soon.

By the way, it's out for download, PM me if you want the link.

Dreadful film... HUGE disappointment for me.

I loved Ong Bak

I hated Tom Yam Goong

Now I hate Ong Bak II

My gf and I BOTH fell asleep during this piece of dross. Watch it on DVD - pirated copy so you are not rewarding the people who inflicted this garbage on the world.

Fight scenes are NOT especially good. Ong Bak was good, because Tony Jar did all the moves himself. In this movie there is wire work and CGI.
