After I've read Jan's "When You're Down ...." journal I checked my "Keep Smiling" - iTunes playlist. Which I always listen to when I try to chill out after a hard day. It contains more 80's songs than other decades... and I always thought I don't like the 80's at all!  What's your favorite song of the 80's?  

I have been having a bit of an 80's week myself and been hunting out some serious rare grooves. My favourite find of the week is a tune by T.C. Curtis called bodyshake on his 1986 album step by step. It's a full on analogue synth driven disco boogie tune that I think will be in my DJ bag for the next few months at least.

Love Tear Us Apart is a great song, but hardly a song to cheer me up or make me smile.......it sounds suicidal at times!!!

I can only remember one song from the 80s, "I Know Him So Well" by Elaine Paige & Barbara Dickson from the show Chess
