'off the record'

Cool Kanye is a jack what? Sealed

Should reporters be held accountable for reporting 'word of mouth' or 'off the record' statements?

What do you think?

Do we follow our leaders?

questions: Is it remotely possible that Kanye thought it was perfectly acceptable to interrupt the VMA ceremonies because he saw it done at a prestigeous event a few days earlier by one of our distinguished leaders Joe Wilson? The Joe Wilson referendum will more in likely pass on the house floor and there will probably be some sort of punishment for his actions. Will we give Joe a lashing as harsh as Kanye? Of course the Joe story is still unfolding and we will have to wait and see on that one...

' I still stand by what I said Kanye the heckler and Joe the heckler were both way outta line'

Don't get me wrong I completely get it. What Joe and Kanye did is nothing new and has been done over the centuries it's called 'civil disobedience' used by Ghandi, Martin Luther King and of course others after them. The US was formed because of this.. King and Ghandi were punished by their current laws of the time and briefly went to jail etc.etc.

If you read this far and didn't get mad or angry thanks for reading.. and guess what? no hard feelings have a bourbon with my kind of girl

Enjoy your day!!

GK:

I don't think Kayne was insipired by Joe ; But...

I do agree they were both way around the bend.

They both looked planned-Kanye did not look like he was going to get "any love" by Boyance's reaction!

(I think Mr. O's description was on the mark. :)

And Joe was a just a fool - even IF he was right our congress isn't the House of Commons

(this should get a reaction??? ... just mean the tradition of direct responses to speakers over there guys)

I have one more for you...Sareena Williams...talk about losing it! WOW / OUCH

@ EAGLE yes of course the thing is Obama can speak, there is something to cover

- "W" might still think the economy is still fine -well he and Cheney were underground most of the time

& it is understandable. I would be talkin' A LOT too with all the goodies that have to be juggled

(at this point, even last October's bailout is his baby- maybe the last Admin got that one right...at this pointtime will tell)

If you anyone got ideas send them to 1700 Pennsylvania Ave. Those guys need help!!

GK: (I am trying to come out of my shell for ya)

It's not acceptable to get on stage during someone else's award acceptance speak for any reason, let alone to say that someone else deserved the award!

That being said, the president should know that everything and anything he says will be scrutinized and played over and over. He can tell he screwed up immediately after he said it.

Eagle you got a point -- seems like if there is no news -- so say the press let's make some -- I suppose :))

thx for replying eagle :P

Danno -- no problem dude -- you have not said anything wrong -- I mean it, I like to hear people say what's on their mind -- & about joe -- I don't have a problem with disention -- it's mainly the principle that upset me -- he broke a traditional line of order -- their is a time and place for everything -- he's not a freshman so he knew better-- as always thanks for your reply -- we will talk again im sure --- later...

Rob -- I agree Kanye has actually pulled this stunt before I looked it up he did it at the European VMA in 2006 -- but this time it is well deserveably backfiring on him. now that you mention it I re-listened to the audio clip above and it did sound like 'bama' did realize he had made a bu, bu of words. -- enjoy your day & hang in there..
