why do we need those alphabets?
Some of those (ones which not easy to write) came from Pali words or Sanskrit words. In pali and Sanskrit those alphabets have difference sound but Thai cannot pronounce those ,thai pronounce it just like other Thai alphabet that sound alike. We use those alphabets just want to keep their spelling, the way they look like and meaning
Pali and Sanskrit are the languages that Hindi gods and the lord of Buddha speak. You maybe hear some Indians are named like Thais’ or some Thais are named like Indians’ , actually Thais and Indians named their children in Pali and Sanskrit.
