Now that we all know the TRUTH between Bobbyboy and Zeus (thanks Crazy Melanie), I know where I can take them if/when they come to Mexico (with you of course, Mel, no problema)...

Yesterday night with my best friends (2 men & 1 woman), we first went to a bar, El Rexo, which has been in the coup but maybe less today... Nice place, soft music, good drinks. I remember it quite different, incredibly crowded and noisy. Anyhow today also it was impossible to sit somewhere, we found to stand in the way of the waitress, had to move all the time.

Then we moved on to the center, you have to take care because it's dangerous (streets), we parked the car and walked to the Vienna. It's a gay bar, and not at all of the upper class ones, all the contrary. One thing I don't like here is that you always have the sensation that Mexicans have eaten their tie, and if not they are vomiting it for over drunks. But there it was so relax, crowded but not too much, people really enjoying themselves and being together, being themselves (after all a week of hidden personality). Don't worry Melanie, there were some women, and anyone can be what he/she is without feeling in the wrong place (I'm not gay). We had some beers and I went to dance for a while. The problem is that there is only Mexican music to dance on, which I think 90% sh...

Then we moved to another bar, lower class, we call it El Salón Dorado because of the painting it had. It's the safest place I know in town, the waiters know how to stop any kind of trouble without aggressivity. Unfortunately, I feel it's not so fun than before, maybe for those months they were closed by the authority (don't know why, probably corruption). But the show is still in the people who go there. We had some more drinks and danced, with the same sh... music.

It has been a long time I don't enjoy myself like that in Mexico City, and I know why: all my TFer and Thai friends were somehow with me in the places, specially the three of you BB-Z-Mel though I don't you, but I enjoyed so much reading your journals.

Feeling all of you with me makes me look at life here in a much better way, even if it's far to be compared with my loved Bkk.
