Well I guess its just a case of opinion. I watched it and found it funny, as have some of the poeple above and many others on youtube. I/they arent laughing at the fact there is a "poorly educated man drunk shouting racist comments lying in the street whilst being beaten by an elderly lady shouting profanities." Theyre laughing at the way the elderly lady is talking. Shes talking like a yardie, which to me is amusing.

Also, how many times have you seen someone on the ground, drunk as hell, shouting the odds at someone in Eastenders? and that makes national TV. Yes, you can say that they are actors, but that show is meant to depict real life.

Also, Im not entirely convinced that the voice is of the granny is real, at times it sounds like its been dubbed.

Firstly I haven't seen East Enders for as long as I can remember, I got rid of my TV a long time ago for that very reason, I do however watch Iplayer for the Documentaries and programs I do want to see, I dont need a tv everything I want is available online.

I actually have a BA in media. I have studied the theory and psychology of media and its effects on culture and yes this is my opinion.

Glorification of the breakdown of our society for humour is not entertaining!

Anyways, I think you may be blowing this out of proportion. Its just a video recorded on a phone, which is going to be seen my a small crowd (on the grand scheme of things), meant to make some people laugh.
