Well, I'm American, retired, single (with no kids), and getting ready to move to Thailand permanantly in a few months. So the odds should be in my favor that I will have to choose between the offers that will come my way.......lololol. According to the pole.

Now should I start taking applications, and setting up an interview schedule before I get there, or wait until I'm actually settled, and moved in......lolol, or should I hire an agent to do the initial screening? Enquiring minds want to know...hahaha.

1) Basic social security is needed! My means about basic is : if you are poor and have a major health problem, will you be cared, including hospital if needed, without having to sell your house if it is your unique belonging.

This exclude USA... Canada and Grat Britain where medical cares is supposed to be free but are overflowed (many British go to Belgium and France because long time waiting lists in hospitals in UK).

2) Basic retired plan for everybody should be organized, even for poor people which could not spare some money in their working (or non working) life. And if they needed "rest home with care" for their end of life, with no family to suppy, what will exactly happen?

The answer to these questions will show which countries are the best !

And anybody rich business may fall down, making these questions available...
