It might be my luck or something... I lived in Huaykhwang since I was a kid, never think my place would have something like subway train pass... and my mom's place could set price up high more than 10 times compare to the price we bought it. lol...

Same as the place I bought in Bangbuathong... The price of the property there was dropped for a while, so I could bought this place in really cheap price, the ex owner bought it at almost 1 million baht but I asked her to buy it at 600,000 baht. That time I didn't know it was near MRT Purple line Bang-sue to Bangyai, and my luck again, the Bangplu station is there...haha Fluke...

6 years ago I hadn't heard anything nor see any MRT construction, and then we have been thru the politics problem the purple line is under construction. Yeah!! love to see them working on it... I think it will finish in 3 years. Live gonna be better?? not sure yet, cuz I have seen so many condo projects and more villages will be born grrr... might be the same as Huaykhwang.

I have seen LPN advert on the way home. start at 799,000 baht. I should buy one if i can afford it, we will see... after MRT finish the price will go higher, same as project in On-nut. I was so upset, I made so wrong decision.... LPN On-Nut was 7xx,xxx baht felt like "Sia dye" cuz the price gone up like 1 million (I think).

Nice...I've got a place on the purple line as well...at the tiwanon intersection. Construction is a pain in the *** right now, but it will hopefully be worth it.

A few people that I knew in Tahoe when I was living there always spent all their extra money buying property for rentals. During their life the property rental payed for the mortgage on the property. Then when they retired the property was payed off, and all the amount from the rentals was their retirement money to spend. Most had managed to buy 7-10 properties, and they had a very good retirement income from this.

At the prices you are listing it would be good to buy, and more than one if you can afford it. Think of it as your retirement investment.

Rob, not sure about the future of purple line area but what i could see from Huaykhwang, it's super worth in. However, you still face with traffic damn, may be more than these days same as Huaykhwang, ppl live there more and more, so many new born aprt. condo. So in rush hour, there are full of ppl in underground, and so many cars on roads...

KB. There are some of my friends bought condo just for investment, 2 of them weren't that lucky. One of them just knew the MRT blue line will come near her window about 5 M., she bought a room on 4th floor and it's Chaopraya River view, she paid extra for the view... then MRT bought the land from that condo... pay back for the land 1,200,000 baht but that money divided with 260 rooms... darn it! That mean in the future she will see MRT wall instead of Chaopraya River.

Another one, bought a condo for let it rent but it's far from city... so no one rent and no one buy it. na song sarn.
