Well, it's been almost a year since I posted this blog post about the problems that would face installing meters on motorcycle taxis. A quick look at the company website seems to indicate no forward traction on the idea (no partners, clients, deals signed, etc), links to a lot of old articles mentioning the device, and some quotes from people acknowledging the fact that people use motorcycle taxis (duh!).

Not every idea started over a pint is a good idea.

Given the distance motorcycle taxis are normally covering, it's a waste of brains (for inventing and developping it) and money (for buying and installing it).
