Well, they are not close to you, you cannot hear or smell them. But in reality, they are here. They are sitting in a portion of other cars using the same road as you. Depending on the country, the percentage differs.

Nope. I just have to drive a lot and at the moment, I am not in one of the most civilized areas concerning driving.....

Motorcycles who drive 40km per hour in the middle of the lane! (familiar with that?)

@Japamerican: BKK is very bad and I can understand your sincere wish, but Amman (Jordan), Kabul (AFG) and especially Kuwait City are the real challenges!
