Hey - try to see the positive things also: building snowmen, building a snow fort and having good snowball fights, sitting in a warm room while the storms are howling outside, seeing the snowy landscape on one of the rare sunny days, going for skiing....

But I am with you in one point: short days where you never get full daylight because of the fog and the clouds above the fog, the cold and the dirty snow and ice in the cities definitely are a reason to hate this period of time!

Aaaand - heads up - I am sure you will not be lonely for a long time!

I know winters are hard there in Chicago but there is beauty there too, like U so hope u can find some nice things to get u thru !!! Stay warm !!!
