Went to watch a game of Amercian Football at Ahola Stadium with my friends. The game was between the University of Hawaii and Army (West Point). My first time watching an American Football game not that I understood it. There was all the American fanfare with skydivers landing in the stadium, loud music, colourful displays etc. Army lost.

We had dinner outside - couple of army chaps in the same place as well. We told them that the army lost and one of the chaps said, "is that so". This reminded me of a story I was once told by somebody i.e.,

"Once upon a time there was a peasant who had a horse. One day the horse ran away, and so the peasant's neighbours came to console him for his bad luck. He just smiled and said, ?is that so?.

A few days later the horse returned leading 6 wild horses with it. The neighbours came to congratulate him on such good luck. The peasant just smiled and said, ?is that so.

A few days later the peasant?s son tried to saddle and ride one of the wild horses, but he fell down and broke his leg. Once again the neighbours came to share that misfortune. The peasant just smiled and said, ?is that so".

The following week soldiers came to conscript the youth of the village, but the peasant's son was not selected because of his broken leg. When the neighbours came to congratulate, the peasant just smiled and said, ?is that so?.

So life will always have its ups and downs - I guess what really matters is the way we look at things i.e., positively or negatively.
