Being an avid bike rider 5 years ago prior to comng to Bangkok, I would like to take up the sport again.

I am currently looking at mountain bikes because I can throw them in the car and use them anywhere.

Local to me is Lumpini Park, I guess you have to cycle fast so your not mugged but it is only 5 minsutes away.

Anyone cycle there or want to ride together, and anyone suggest other more scenic bike tracks in Bangkok where you cant get killed by cars?

Have a good one guys

Mike, you should try Prapa Dang, it is that wacky little penninsula that the Chao Phrya river forms just opposite of Khlong Thuey. It is actually not part of Bangkok proper but belongs to Samat Phrakan province. Anyways, there are hardly any vehicles over there when compared to Bangkok. When I get back we should hook up and go do it.

Another place/group you can ride with here: www.bangkokbikehash.com

Check it out! Cheers!!

BOD and Loburt thanks for the input.

Craig thanks mate that was worth a visit to. Looks great.

A0mmy, I can just see you in your bikini wizzing around on a tricycle, I got a good laugh out of that one. We can do a tandem, except my bike wont be a tandem :)
