I just found out about Google Earth (http://earth.google.com/) last night through my roommate. I am so amazed that this kind of information is available for free!!

If you are into geography, cartography, GIS, maps, etc. you should check it out. I was able to pinpoint the exact location of my house, find the elevation gain of the mountain I rode today, and look at Manhattan's skyline in three dimensions.

I have used aerial photographs, maps and GIS for work and really appreciate the value of this kind of information. I am so impressed!!!
