Hey, sorry to any guys or girls who commented on my last journal concerning the Samui music festival. I personally didn't even have a chance to see any of the comments as it was deleted by a moderator. A bit pissed at that.

Unfortunate because all I was trying to do was allow people to be aware of the event and share my enthusiasm and excitement about the event and being involved in it (as a performer). Should be beneficial to all tourist, thai and expat music lovers. And I hope this festival grows and becomes a yearly staple of quality.... So who's gonna come, get down and boogie with The Wailers too mun?!

No, I was not after $financial gain$ for posting that journal. Seems a bit silly to me for someone to assume that considering I'm not a promotor or investor in the festival.. sure I get paid for doing it (set salary). Don't we all get paid for work we do? Simply I will be there and performing, and was wondering if any other TFers will be going? Ok, I concede, I did also mention that my band's album is finished and will be availiable soon. So what? Isn't that worthy news for myself, my journal and my friends to know?

Oh, I noticed there was a recent journal entry from a Hong Kong based TF member mentioning the opening of Disneyland there.., perhaps she is seeking to advertise Disneyland for free? Loburt's journal includes a reference to the Bangkok Post.. possibly an attempt at a free plug for them? probably not.. but i guess my point can be seen. All seems to be a bit of a negative advertisment for tf.com in my opinion.

Well, whatever... not too serious. Would be nice to see any or all other music lovers enjoy this coming festival.

I saw nothing wrong or commerical about your previous journal post (or this one for that matter). Sometimes TF takes itself a bit too seriously. Personally I'm glad to know about what's going on at festivals and where the Cannonball Blues Band is going to be playing.

I can remember some information from Zleepy's previous journal that there will have a good music festival of the year at Samui on September 23 - some times..( not sure ) and this would be more interesting event because P' SEK Loso will jam the concert.... etc..

What I say is I don't work for the Bangkok Post so I have no reason to plug the paper. Insinuating that I do is a mistake on your part.
