I went to the restaurant I mentioned here before. It was not bad, but not excellent. The taste is arrenged too much for JPs. (mai phed luey!) The staff were all Japanese or a girl from Myanmar. (!) I prefer to go for local food wagon on back street in bkk.

The only restaurant I know with good taste and reasonal price is Geujai in Shijuku station. The lunch menu is 700 -900 yen. (250-320 baht for curry or kwaityao and dessert) All the cooking and serving staff are Thai. Anyone know good one in JP?

I think I'd better go to bangkok, taking this precious opportunity to have such a long vacation this month.

My Japanese adviser to some restaurant (not really restaurant maybe pub but they serve thai food) in Chiba or Noda I'm not sure. The taste as good as you eat in Thailand and ped mak mak too... my Japanese adviser liked thai food and thai girls

Hey Ken. Sorry to hear about that. Hey, if ever you are out in the Chiba area -- near Katagai or Kujyukuri, e-mail me and we can go to a local place here that makes pretty authentic Thai food. All Thai owned and operated. But they at least have the common sense to make laap nua with beef and not intestines AND they have beer Chang! Just let me know.
