Just managed to get a package deal to Phuket from Bangkok as part of a Thai Airways special. Basically 4000 baht per person round trip airfare and 2 nights accomodations in one of several hotels. So anyway off I go to have fun in the sun at 6:00am tomorrow morning. I've never been but wanted to make sure my time was spent wisely (i.e needle point and cross stitch). Any suggestions, good bars, nice restaurants, working phonebooths or clean bathrooms I should know about?

Thanks Mr. Canada. Of the hotels in the 4,000 baht package, I highly recommend Kata Beach Resort. It's right on the nicest beach in Phuket.

Come along then. Need a second person anyway to get the cheap rate. Don't worry I don't snore.

Phuket is a great place! Lots of sweet memories there!

I stayed at 'Kata Beach Resort and Spa' 5* hotel very nice private beach but a bit far from where all the restuarants and bars are.

wish to go back there again some time.
