hi guys and girls, i have a question for you. my gf accidently turned on her phone when she was at a party. i always heard her someone calling" teerak" or" babe". these are usually the words which she uses for me. i never heard her someone calling like this when i was together with her. i also heard some english voices in the background. yes, she likes farang. ok enough of this story. now my question to the thai girls: when do you use the word teerak? just for guys? or do you call your best female friends even like this? :?: :?: :?:

The secret of attraction is to love yourself. Attractive people judge neither themselves nor others. They are open to gestures of love. They think about love, and express love in every action. They know that love is not a mere sentiment, but the ultimate truth at the heart of the universe. Deepak Chopra I think of him as one of my teachers, and a very wise old soul 8)

Today, I went to a nearby mall for brunch and I was wearing a very ugly t-shirts and shorts, since I was just gonna eat and buy some grocery and get out. After I finished everything, on my way back to my car, I saw a woman carry lots of plastic bags and it's difficult for her to push or pull the door, so I opened it for her (She was coming in, I was going out). Right when I opened it, a guy cut me just just walk pass that door I open for the poor woman. It was like...WOW...And it begs a question. I know some guys are real jerks but not all are like that. However, I've had many experience with this kind of thing; on the bus, in college, on the street, regular Thai guys are, in my opinion, not really conscious about acting like a gentleman. So, has anybody encounter anything like this that you wanna share or anybody disagree with me? Would love to hear any thoughts!

Everybody lies sometimes but I would genuinly like to know (preferbbly from a Thai person) why do Thai people lie so much? Has it got to do with the culture? The Religion? Loosing Face? Being Sneaky? 8) Just something I would like to clear up as it would make my life 100 times easier!!!

In Manila and other Asian countries having a car is a "status" (means you are rich). How to cut this STIGMA? What do you think about cycling/biking?

Out of a country's health budget, a large proportion should be diverted from treatment to spending on health education and preventative measures. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Chest Hair Hot or Not? Male chest hair is not everybody's cup of tea. Some men are proud of their chest hair, wearing it proudly like a badge of virility and masculinity, while others rid themselves of it for fear of seeming feral. Having it or not having it, depends on who wants it, the man himself, or the lady he desires. Chest hair is often seen on men without sculpted figures, and in today's society, it seems as though men are supposed to be buff and smooth chested. So what do you prefer?

Why do people refer to thailand as a place to meet women who work in bars and sell themselves? It makes me sad to see such an amazing country use this angle. Ive met so many nice thai women who are honest and decent. Im not blaming anything. What is the cultural difference? People selling themselves in this country (UK) is frowned upon. Why does thailand have this stigma? I dont understand the logic to it. Yes thai people are decent people. and they work. I realise that there is no social support. Where does this culture come from? I do apologise about maybe being provocative. Im just curious. but then again i dont have to contemplate this.
