Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is a metropolis where one can find both old and new, East and West, traditional and fashionable, blended together in a harmonious way. Samut Prakan (29 km) has countless tourist attractions such as historical sites, old markets and indigenous lifestyles along the canals.

Personally, I would not be so overwhelmed about that. Fact is that Samut Prakan gives a good overview over the cultural heritage of Thailand, in replicas ranging from 1:1 to 1:500 and that I would recommend it to everyone visiting it on a day trip from Bangkok.
