funky_house
I wonder how many remain unsold, or empty.
Andy_bkk
From my time in Thailand I learned that in the real estate market, they often come up with fantasy rates and leave the flat rather empty than go down even a few satang for you. So true. Everywhere you look they're building new condos and the prices keep going up and up. Meanwhile, some of the places I've stayed in seemed half-vacant because the landlords won't come down on the rent.

I'm lazy and small apartments mean less to clean up :-)

FarangFarang
Well, once you don't own too much stuff (i.e. not more than is fitting into an international hand luggage trolley), you might be fine! That was pretty much my life for about 6 years. Other than a storage unit back in the US, everything I owned could be fit into a few suitcases. To be honest, it's actually sort of liberating. Knowing you're not tied down to "stuff." There's a lot of freedom in not owning a lot of physical things.
