(i know it's not easy.. maybe a dream..)does anybody know something in the field of electrical engineering or computer science? Ciao Tuxi! Come va? Well, I don't know of any specific jobs, but most of the ex-pats I know who wanted to go abroad actually looked for jobs with companies that have branches in the countries they wanted to go to. That way, you get a better salary and package when you're abroad. Some of the Japanese people I've met never want to leave Thailand -- they make Japanese wages in an economy where the cost of living is about 1 /10 of what it is here in Japan. Also, if your destination is Thailand, you should be learning Thai as much as possible, both speaking and literacy skills -- that will give you an advantage over the other 'geers out there. In ogni modo, in bocca al lupo. Spero che tu trova un bel lavoro al piu' presto
0 MikeAussieGuy
Tuxi, If you dont speak Thai your up against it. Take Mikes advice about learning Thai. Secondly, my plan is to move to Italy and spend only about 3 months a year In thailand a year once my businesses in Thailand are sufficiently settled down. Dont expect the fun time one has on a holiday here to be translated to the same fun time but longer when your actually living here. In other words holidaying here is hell of a lot better than living and working here. Dont forget you need a Visa, give yourself 3 months for a work permit and of course you need a sponsor for it unless you have your own company and Thai staff etc. and so forth. Good luck, but think it through at least 5 times but then again if you have a love here then all this is a waste of time lol.

Unless you apply only to companies that have an a-go-go in the lunchroom. Yee haa!
