Right so I made up my mind. I'm going to have another birthday party with TFers and this time I will try harder at getting to know the people (not ignoring everyone and just danced my butt off like last year).

So it won't be at a club. Plus it's around the time of the World Cup so I figure someone where we could watch footie wouldn't hurt. So we can talk, watch footie and drink ourselves silly :lol::lol: Of course we can also move on to a club after if we 'must'.

These venues came to mind so I'll let you all decide or if anyone has other suggestion then let's hear it.

I'd like to invite everyone who I've met at previous events and everyone else fancying a night out. All are welcome!

Any of these places is cool with me really. But here's a bit of a down low.

Bull's Head is like my home. I know the people, the staffs and the manager is an old friend of mine. The food is great. Drinks rather pricey plus it's really small. No pool table. No wait...there might be one upstairs but still it's one of those small and cosy pubs.

Robinhood, never been there really :lol: No wait, I have once. :lol: Looks like enough space to cater us. They do have some cool promotion on the drinks. Don't know about the food. Pool table?

Londoner, seems perfect but I think it can be loud sometimes. Good food with live band, big screen TV and pool table.

Gullivers, a massive place. Cheap drinks but don't like the food one bit. Pool table, big screen TV and it's not too loud.

What is the date of this extra-ordinary super b-day party? I voted for Gullivers but changed my mind after seeing your second post.

Bulls Head is good (say Hi to Billy for me) but kinda small. I recommend the Irish Exchange cuz it has 3-4 big screen TV's and will certainly have drinks on special (I might be able to arrange something for you. Send me a PM). Also, Irish Ex does not cater to the hooker crowd that is mostly hanging out at Gullivers. You dont want them around on your b-day stealing all the available men do you? The chef at Irish Ex is a personal friend so if you want to do a b-day buffet, let me know. Anyhow, food for thought.

Mike, The date is June 18 which is a Sunday.

I thought about the Irish Xchange but think it's kinda small too though. But thanks for the recommendation. Now how do I add them onto the poll.

Will be PMing you maybe nearer the date its still more than 2 months to go.

Plus I need to edit and my resume and send it to you. Do I have a deadline? I've just been a bit busy with a few things.

You dont want them around on your b-day stealing all the available men do you?

Now are you saying.......if we don't do it at Gullivers......all the available men will be ALL MINE? :oops: :oops:

Haven't been to Bull's Head. I've been to Robin Hood and in my opinion the food sucks and the one-man-band isn't my kind of music. Londoner tends to be not only noisy but also very crowded and the food is mediocre at best. Gulliver's gets my vote because of space, pool tables, TV's located throughout, and last time I was there I ordered the chicken pot pie which was surprisingly delicious!

Khun Lung ka, the pies at Bull's Head are the best!!!!

As Moose said, I'm also tempted by Bull's Head's Toss The Boss on Sunday. But still think it's a bit too small (look at me talking as if there'll be a hundred people showing up LOL). I guess we'll see closer the time if it's only a small number then Bullies definitely get my vote. Or we can start early at Bull's Head and move after 7pm when Toss The Boss is over hehe.

You can do better than that Bobby! 25 is still old for most girls! And what does a girl have to do to make you miss Anisa's birthday for mine instead? :wink:

I'd like to join your bday party :D I know 2 of the places above, Gullivers and Londoner which I don't really fancy, but they are ok with me.

Also it's my return to and first day in BKK after a 2long time. Would like to see some old TFers that remember me (maybe none do)
