mojava
Ya I know it sounds ghey n all but I'm looking for some CAST IRON cookware other than WOKS. I love to cook & in the near future will be opening a western restaraunt here. I stay in malaysia & only have found the stuff I want is made in china & I would have to buy a ton of it (which I don't need). I'm looking for skillets, lids, griddles & dutch ovens. If anyone knows where in BKK or thailand I can pick this stuff up @ reasonable price, I'd be interested. For those who don't know what I'm talking about here's a link to a manufacturer in the USA. http://www.lodgemfg.com/ Thanks Mojava

mojava
Wickedbird, Thanks but Le Creuset is a little out of my budget at this time....also don't think I'd want my future cooks using this cookware (expensive) as I see how they treat their stuff now I'm more on the typical "Cast Iron" Non-seasoned as I don't like havin a machine doing that for me. If you happen to see at the emporium the type I'm looking for please post some pics & or prices. I miss the taste of cooking like mom's.
CMG_UK
Le Creuset is too heavy. Drop it on your foot and you'll have broken toes, and too heavy to lift when full. Looks pretty but impractical.
