Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

I'm going to Kuala Lumpur from Oct 10 to Oct 16 and I would like to find a nice, but not too expensive hotel, with a good location.

Can anyone help me with this?

I stayed at Crown Plaza

Only 5-10 mins away from Petronous Tower (depends on how fast you walk:P,get off from the back door) ,Located in town, just a few mins walk to sky train (it's in front of the hotel!!) to places, night life, cultures places

Hey ,

I was in KL in July to get my Non-B visa. Stayed at the Nova Hotel in Bukit Bintang - around $40 US per night inc breakfast. On a great Soi with many chinese open air restaurants.

Plenty of other hotels around that mark in the area.

KL is nice but the alcohol prices are ridiculous, puts a damper on any party aspiriations.

I no longer stay in the hotel... used to stay at Sunway Lagoon.. its quite nice.. a multi-complex accommodation... rather than that, I got no clue Now I'm staying at "home". I can ask Gilgamish_II as he has been living in KL longer that I do... I can forward this case to him... to give you a better recommendation

and yes!!! ...booze is really expensive here.. buy some at duty-free shop
