Dave40
Australia are all out for 371 once again England let Australia get away we have a lead of 102 runs, the series would of been alot closer if England had been able to capitilize on some chances given to them in the Australian inning's.Better luck next time. The MCC want to keep The Ashes in England (the urn) since Australia have only lost them once since the 80's (2005) they should remain with the team who wins them, Richard Branson came out and said they should remain in Aust and our own Prime Minister agreed with him!!! Happy New Year!!!
MichaelGray
England slip closer to whitewashFifth Test Match Sydney England 291 (A Flintoff 89, I R Bell 71) & 114-5 v Australia 393 (S K Warne 71, A C Gilchrist 62) Australia moved to the brink of an Ashes whitewash on the third day of the fifth Test in Sydney by reducing England to 114-5 in their second innings. That represents a lead of just 12 with only the tourists' lower order to keep Kevin Pietersen (29no) company when play resumes tomorrow on a rapidly wearing pitch. http://msnsport.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=439186&cpid=&clid=1614&lid=&title=England+slip+closer+to+whitewash
