sunsnow
The question goes out to I_love_som_tam, Rooblaw and condotown: How long and what methods you have used to study thai writing? Some say that "best to learn writing at the same time you start studying the speaking", some say "learn first to speak good and good word knowledge then the writing is easier"...But I am interested in your three guys experience how you have learned it, how many years etc etc. Thanks a lot for the trouble. There are no shortcuts, my friend. Hours and hours of exposure is what it takes. But it does finally get easier when you reach a certain level of proficiency. Almost all of mine is self taught, but I have taken four sixty hour courses at www.aaathai.com Unfortunately, I still speak Thai like a retarded four year old child. Each nation designates a special day to celebrate its sovreignty or pride as a nation on some national day whether or not there was a struggle for independence. Independence day, on the other hand, is a day which is designated as a day to celebrate independence from another power such as a colonizer or oppressor in my opinion. Because in the USA independence day has been designated as national day, it could be called ÇѹªÒµÔ çHowever if there may be some countries that have an independence day which is not associated with a national day, it could be called Çѹà ÊÃÕ or ÇѹÃÔÊÃÀÒ¾ In the case of USA's Fourth of July, one of these terms might be more appropriate.
