WHATS YOUR STUPIDEST THING THIS WEEK?

After moving into my new house I immediately had a 100 things to fix in the first few days.... new gas connection, new phone lines, new fuses, new blah blah, blah....

On the second night, around midnight, I threw all my best clothes in the washing machine. This isnt just any old washing machine. Its one all those really fancy, bells-and-whistles ones with very hi-tech do-dahs. I didn't buy it. It was already in the house. Someone told me the thing cost over TB50k.

Good, I thought. It better wash my clothes well...

Anyway an hour later I went to open the door. It wouldnt open. I have no manual. I tried everything. It was 1am and i was still trying everything. I got on the net to try and download a manual. i called my gf and she patiently listened as I whinged and griped. The ONLY manual NOT available was this particular model. F*ck!

Next morning, I got a Thai friend to call all sorts of numbers for Samsung to try and get a serviceman to come fix it.

Another day passed and my clothes were still locked inside, now smelling badly.

Typical, I thought. Here's one of the highest tech washing machines known to mankind and I cant even open the f*cking door. I kicked it really hard.

I though I may as well break the door open I was getting so frustrated with it. No. Stay calm. It's an expensive thing.

Finally, the next morning a Samsung technician arrived smiling and looking very confident. He said he could fix it for TB650. Of course, I agreed and left him to it.

I came back half an hour later and he had opened the door. Great!!

But then I saw he'd got a screw driver and forced the door open, breaking it!!!

All I could do was laugh.... and then he gave me a bill for another TB150 for a new door catch.

Some things are just so f*cking stupid.

It's not THAT stupid :!: If you call in an expert you'd excpect him to repair something in a civilised way, you don't break open a door of such an expensive piece of equipment by force yourself because you might damage it even more. The least HE could've done was tell you it was the only way before he actually did it,.... right :?:

what a coincidence!

I went to the gym and found that I forgot my Ipod at home. So I had to do a workout without any isolation, R&B, and rock and roll... and found I was distracted and lacking motivation. I had no idea how dependent my fitness is on good funky music.

I tried to sing to myself but people around started to say "shhh! be quiet!"

Well my week started off great.

I bought my new toy Mini Cooper last Friday and got the windows tinted this past Monday :)

Last night my computer went blank :(

So all day today I was trying to get it fixed and the outcome was getting the hard drive rebooted. Which means I lost all my important information. Spent the whole day gathering and making phone calls to get all my accounts back online. Which I just finished.

Now I see this forum and its right up my alley on how my week is going.

Hopes it get better :)

Yes, its getting better because I plan on coming to thailand in a couple of weeks. Hope to see some of you people :)

Yeah :)

No dumb moves this week at the moment but hey! ...the weekend is on it's way so if there is not another poor reason to not serve alcohol there might be some hope just yet
