For months people talked about the possibility Parts of Bangkok and surrounding areas might be flooded and I even saw a pdf folder with instructions which showed a family fleeing for a tsunami  we had to worry about ice melting in the north in combination with heavy hard rain etc.

Now there's this email circulating which warns for the month october that parts of bangkok will be flooded and without electricity, phone reception and wors of all... internet  which would mean it can be pretty dangerous sometimes, now myself, I'll be in Holland for 4 weeks but I'm worried for someone else.

What's the scoop, is there anyone who has some clear info?

ain't nobody sayin' anything usefull so I dove into it a little deeper. Turns out there's also the risk of a dam outside of BKK giving in if an earthquake hits hard. Kanchanaburi will be between 20 - 25 meters under water, Rachaburi 7.5 meters and Bangkok (and near places like Samutprakaan) 2 meters.

...WTF :!:

Last time I flew into BKK, I was looking at the hills in the distance thinking that that would be a good place to buy property. Trouble is, I couldn't figure out where they were.

how about huo hin ! I've never been there nor but alots of thai ppl said

alots good thing about there.

Youd never find a crew of savages..... i mean Jocks thatll stay off the purple tin long enough to accomplish such a reconstruction project.

Though i do hope Scotland gains independence, and leaves the truly evil repressive regime that is the EU.

Back the the OP, BKK is going to flood soon next wednesday and your all going to drown.
