Karnie
I thought this latest piece of gossip from the Bangkok Post was pretty amusing - THAI refusing access to flights based on political party!http://www.bangkokpost.com/breaking_news/breakingnews.php?id=131229 It's quite a surprise as I just watched this news on TV. It reminds me of a conversation I had with a taxi driver few weeks ago. Long story makes it short. A taxi driver said he drove pass around protesting area and there were few people waved then he stopped. Those people opened the door then asked to a taxi driver "Are you with TRT/PPP?" Then he said "Are you with PAD? If so, don't get in my car." Then he drove off... No comment, if you ask me, and if only that taxi driver tell no lie.... The captain on the first flight does have the ultimate call for whatever real or perceived reason. I am sure they enjoyed the prestige of Airasia! Damnam1
mmmhh, if the topic wasnt that serious I would say that the whole thing reminds me a lot of the hassle between The Judean People's Front and The Peoples' Front of Judea in Monty Pythons Llife of Brian... beej
Fair enough, they don't want a PAD riot closing one of their airports again now do they. Might hurt the tourist numbers even more!
